Tony Lucchesi is a painter whose art is rooted in the New York School of Abstract Expressionism. The New York experience in the 50′s connected Lucchesi early ideas and works firmly to the revolutionary American movement. In later years he continued to employ these ideas and concepts in the teaching of painting and subsequently in the seminar work which he began in 1979, in Rome. Lucchesi has shown his work in many major cities in Europe and US. Tony Lucchesi has described the work of the seminars in the Swiss publication “Médecine Psychosomatique” titled “Rencontre avec sa propre créativité” (n°1 vol.15, 1987).
